Why UC San Diego

Meet Our Fellows
The Body Imaging fellowship at the University of California, San Diego is a clinical fellowship in CT, US and MR. The fellowship will provide training in state-of-the-art imaging including cross-sectional 3D imaging. The fellow will be expected to spend at least 6 months of focused training in either CT, US, or MRI, and the remaining time in the other two areas and research.

The medical center consists of a 450 bed hospital with all subspecialities represented. We are a Level I trauma center, transplant center, burn center, NCI designated Cancer Center and tertiary referral center. This fellowship also offers a unique experience in high-risk obstetrical ultrasound at our Fetal Care and Genetics center with an integrated multidisciplinary approach working with perinatologists, genetic counselors and sonographers. Multiple opportunities exist for research in all modalities. Fellows also are expected to teach and present at conferences.
